Content & Intellectual Property
7.1 Kinpath Content
All content created, curated, or published by Kinpath, including but not limited to resource articles, summaries, editorial curation, the AI chat system, user interface design, software code, logos, trademarks, and the “Kinpath” name, is owned by or licensed to Kinpath and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not permit you to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Kinpath content without our express written consent.
7.2 Third-Party Content
Resources in the Kinpath library may link to or summarize content from third-party organizations such as the AAP, CDC, WHO, and ACOG. Such content belongs to its respective owners. We make reasonable efforts to ensure resource accuracy but are not responsible for the content of external sources.
7.3 User-Generated Content
You may submit content to the Service in the form of chat messages, checklist notes, and child profile information (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant Kinpath a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your User Content to train AI models or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights and does not violate any applicable law.
7.4 Feedback
If you provide us with suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service (“Feedback”), you grant Kinpath a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that Feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you.
7.5 Copyright Infringement Notifications (DMCA)
Kinpath respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Submitting a notice. If you believe content available through the Service infringes a copyright you own or control, please send a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent that includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it on the Service (such as the URL);
- Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Counter-notification. If you believe material you posted was removed in error, you may submit a written counter-notification to the same address that includes the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), including a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
Repeat infringers. We will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
Knowingly submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
